Lion Solutions is a Small Disadvantage Business (SDB) based in Montgomery County, MD that was established in January 2016. We provide innovative information technology services and solutions to customers in the Public, Commercial and Non-profit sectors. Our core leadership has provided over 20 years of subject matter expertise to our community of customers in the private and federal government sectors. Our mission is to listen to our customers to create solutions specific to their needs. Taija Thomas is the founding member of Lion Solutions, LLC and serves as the President and CEO. Taija recently served as an Enterprise Technical Manager with 20+ years of experience in the information technology (IT) field. He has extensive experience with helpdesk and customer support services utilizing the ITIL framework for Systems Operations and Engineering, Network and Telecommunications Engineering including Security Operations utilizing industry best practices. He has supported customers in the Federal and Private sector of IT services and solutions.
Taija is a hands on leader, with experience leading a variety of projects including time sensitive data center moves; IPv6 engineering and transition planning; medium to large scale VoIP implementations; designing and implementing heterogeneous network systems for mission critical services; and managing daily operations including patch, log and change management processes. Taija is an effective communicator and is known for his personable management and leadership style. Taija is a native Washingtonian and still resides and provides support in the DC region and surrounding area.
